Rapport Youth & Family Services is a community-based organization whose mission is to strengthen the social and emotional well-being of youth and families through counseling and related support services. With over 40 successful years in Peel Region, a strong and committed Board of Directors, and an enthusiastic team devoted to their cause, this organization is ready to take the next steps in their continued success.

About the Role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director plays a key leadership role in developing and leading the organization. Through creative and collaborative leadership, innovation, strong community relationships, and a passion for the cause, you will play an integral role in impacting at-risk youth in Peel Region.
As the Executive Director, you will guide the organization through all strategic and operational initiatives, with a collaborative and participative approach. Leveraging the skills of a team of direct and indirect reports, you will lead a team to success across all functional areas of the organization, including financial management, strategic planning, public relations, fund development, counseling services and youth outreach programs. You will oversee day-to-day operational areas, including all HR, facility management, accounting and IT requirements.

About You
As the ideal candidate, you have a University degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Business Administration, combined with 5 – 10 years’ experience in a senior management role within a Non-Profit, social services organization. You have strong business acumen and organizational skills, gained from your cross-functional experience that includes strategic planning, financial management, operational leadership, and marketing.
As a leader, you use your strong interpersonal skills to leverage the strengths of your team, promote a culture of engagement, and build lasting internal and external partnerships. You are an exceptional communicator and public speaker, and engage your written communication skills in writing grants and proposals that result in sustainable funding from various levels of government.
This role will be attractive to individuals with experience as an Executive Director in a smaller organization, or to an individual from a larger organization with senior management experience and exposure to all functional areas of a Non-Profit social services organization.
